Allergy Patch Testing

Although allergies to hair dye products only affect a minority of the population, it is required to perform an allergy test before each use to rule out allergies or onset of sensitivities to hair dye ingredients. If you are allergic and have not correctly done a patch test, it can lead to severe reactions such as irritation, burning, redness, swelling, hospitalisation, anaphylaxis, etc. Allergies may not show up immediately, but can also develop over time.

You can request a free patch test with any product from our website. To order a patch test, please enter 'FREEPATCHTEST' in the order notes when making an order. This offer is limited to just one per customer account.

We provide a leaflet with each order containing the full instructions on how to perform a patch test with warnings and instructions for use. Read all provided instructions, warnings, and guidance, and follow the instructions carefully to minimise risk. You must wait for the recommended time after a patch test before using the hair dye as allergies may not show immediately.
